READ THIS FIRST - why the blog is lagging...

We're doing a fair amount of miles each day, and we don't always end up at a motel with wi-fi at the end.  

And sometimes we are just plumb tuckered out!  (or we are drinking a beer at some really cool microbrewery along the way - but we realize that gets us less sympathy from y'all, right?)

So, as a result, this blog is going to be behind, most of the time.
Please bear with us, and sign up for email notifications so you don't get frustrated waiting for David (or Brigitte) to put down their tasty beer, and tell you what we did today!  Also, if you don't want to sign up for Blogger just to be able to comment,  you can email us directly with your comments to wiegandd at HOTMAIL dot COM.

We promise to take good notes each day, and oodles of pictures, so there will be no fiction here, but for the most part this blog will be post factual*.
